The Professional Development Team contributes to the constant improvement of child & family centred care in the Trust through practice development initiatives, education and training. We are committed to meeting the needs of the Trust to help maintain and extend our reputation as a centre of excellence for child and family centred care.

We offer a wide variety of development opportunities related to the enhancement and provision of care for children and their families and the continuing personal professional development of staff.

Whilst many of the education programmes we offer are about the clinical skills development nurses require, several of these may be of interest and value to staff from other disciplines. We actively promote opportunities for multi professional training and education.
