Brief
Description of the Course
The 8 week Paediatric module is a
Final Year subject. Students spend time both at Birmingham
Children's' Hospital and in Paediatric Departments at other
teaching trusts around the West Midlands. For more information

Elective Placements
Medical Students who would like to
pursue the opportunity of an elective placement at Birmingham
Children's Hospital should contact Rosemary Waters, Undergraduate
Administrator rosemary.waters@bch.nhs.uk
Elective
placements can only be offered between mid-May to mid-June
as they have to fit in around the Paediatric module Course
dates. Applications must be received at least three months
before the proposed start date. The success of an application
depends on academic references, Occupational Health clearance
and the outcome of a Criminal Records check.
