‘Expanding the Interventive Interviewing Framework with Contextual Questions, Meta-Questions, and Enhanced Awareness’
Karl will review the original model of Interventive Interviewing and then explain the changes that are currently being elaborated. He will outline some ramifications of the new framework in enabling creative patterns of enquiry, and will offer live and/or videotaped demonstrations of these interviewing approaches.

‘Systemic Therapy for Couples where One Partner has Depression’
Karl will present his systemic approach in working with such couples in this workshop. He is comfortable with interventions at the biological, psychological, and social levels, but will focus mainly on the later. He will outline common depressogenic patterns of interaction between partners and propose specific healing interaction patterns as an antidote to the pathologizing patterns.
