The BCH Finance Department is
structured into 3 groups to mirror the organisational configuration
of the Trust, as follows:
Surgical
and Critical Care;
Integrated
Child Care;
Corporate/Executive
Services.
The teams incorporate various functions including Sales and
Purchase Ledger, Treasury, Expenses and Management Accounts.
The
Department employs approximately thirty staff, ten of whom are
qualified CCAB accountants and many others who are studying
to attain various accountancy qualifications. This reflects
the positive approach to training within the Department which
is steadily being built upon.
The Department is a professional and friendly place in which
to work whose objective is to provide an excellent support service
to the Trust, as well as being an enjoyable and stimulating
environment in which staff can enhance and develop their finance
careers.
