Being in hospital can be a difficult, bewildering and often scary experience for anyone – and particularly for children. We believe that we should make it as comfortable and relaxing as possible and are working to create the very best healing environment for children, right here in Birmingham.
Red Balloon Fundraising is making a big difference to our patient’s hospital experience, and by providing additional funds, we are helping enhance the hospital’s national reputation for the research, prevention, care and cure of childhood illnesses.
The Fundraising Team is responsible for all aspects of charity fundraising including partnerships with businesses and Charitable Trusts, work with schools and community groups, organising special events and supporting individual fundraisers.

We regret that we cannot accept donations of second hand and cuddly toys as we are unable to ensure that they comply with Health & Safety and Infection Control policies.
We welcome donations of brand new soft toys for fundraising purposes (eg. as raffle prizes) but we are unable to give them to the children in our care. Donations of good quality second hand toys are welcomed by a number of local charity shops, details of which can be found in Yellow Pages. |
