The Department of Histopathology is one of the UK’s largest specialised paediatric pathology departments, supporting the unique range of specialist clinical services. Special interests include transplant pathology, liver, gastrointestinal, and tumour pathology. The senior medical and scientific staffs contribute to national and international cancer studies (UKCCSG, SIOP).
