There are 22 hospitals in the UK responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of children with cancer. The staff working within or affiliated to these centres make up a national body, the United Kingdom Childhood Cancer Study Group (UKCCSG) www.ukccsg.org, committed to improving the organisation, delivery and outcome of childhood cancer care through national and international collaboration and research.
