Birmingham Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Core Constitution

Q: What Does This Mean

What is a Foundation NHS Trust?

NHS Foundation Trusts are a new kind of NHS organisations called Public Benefit Corporations. They remain part of the NHS but they let staff and local people influence how the hospital is run. They still work to national standards and inspection, but they are free to manage their own finances and make their own decisions through working more closely with their members and Council of Governors (for more on the Council of Governors, please click here).

Q: What Do Members Do?

Why Become A Member?
