| Patient from Northern Ireland comes to BCH to wait for transplant |
A patient has been admitted as he waits for a liver transplant. Irish media outlets as mentioned above, have expressed an interest in covering the story and speaking to the patients parents. After speaking to his parents, we told them of the interest in their son’s case and they are happy to consider liaising with the media in a couple of days time.

| Brave BCH patient meets the Prime Minister |
A little girl from the Midlands was named among Britain's bravest children in a moving, star-studded ceremony.
Sarah Brown, wife of Prime Minister Gordon Brown, presented the accolades at the Woman's Own Children of Courage Awards, now in its 34th year.
The winners received their awards from Mrs Brown before a celebrity-packed congregation at London's Westminster Abbey. Among them was Ellie Bishop, seven, from Oldbury.
