BannerWelcome to our further education fundraising page, which aims to help student fundraisers and Rags make the most of their fundraising for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

There are so many ways that you could make a difference:

  • organise a themed night,
  • a charity calendar,
  • a sports challenge,
  • a street collection

...or take part in our brand new Business and Enterprise Project!

Aston University StudentsHowever you choose to fundraise, let us know by calling us on 0121 333 8524 and our team will be able to provide the help and support you need.

Street collections
These are a fantastic way to raise money and why not make it even more fun by collecting in fancy dress! We will provide you with buckets, T-shirts and a letter of authority.

If you would like a permit for your RAG to collect in 2010 then please get in touch and we can apply on your behalf but please remember that Saturday collections in major cities can sometimes be booked up a year in advance.

Volunteering

We’re always looking for volunteers who can come and help out at our office, support our events, help with collections plus lots more. Visit the volunteering pages for more information.

MAdness in the Method

BCUPostgraduate students specialising in Jewellery, Silversmithing and Related Products from Birmingham City University are gearing up to offer a unique insight into the very best of up-and-coming contemporary design. Passionate about creativity and keen to share their enthusiasm, the exhibition titled ‘MAdness in the Method’ will be working in association with Birmingham Children’s Hospital to raise funds for their Art’s Programme.

The programme encourages children to get active, using art to aid their recovery by arranging various arts based activities over the summer that will get them out of their beds and sometimes even out of hospital!

MAdness in the Method is open to the public from Monday 12th September to Friday 23rd September at the School of Jewellery (82-86 Vittoria St, B1 3PA). It is free to attend and open from 10am till 4pm each day, with much of the work for sale or available for commission and with students on hand to discuss works of interest
