This is a superb trekking adventure taking you up to 100km into the biggest desert in the world, the Sahara.

The circular route will allow you to fully experience this beautiful region as you traverse hamada, twisting wadi’s and untouched windblown sand dunes, whilst encountering salt pan induced mirages, deserted villages and wells frequented by nomads. The pinnacle of your trek will be to watch the sunset from the top of Erg Zaher, a 580m dune and one of the highest in the region.

Walking between 6 and 7 hours a day, we stop for leisurely lunches in the shade of the tamarisk trees and wild camp each night on the sand dunes beneath star filled skies which comes alive without the effects of light pollution.

· Wild camping under the stars amongst the magnificent dunes of Chigaga

· Experience the minimalist existence and solitude of nomadic desert life

· Suitable for experienced adventurers and those looking for their first challenge

· A wonderful 10 day challenge includes driving across the High Atlas Mountains
