The virtual London Marathon will be completed by running the famous 26.2 mile marathon distance from home or anywhere in the world on the course of your choice. All finishers will receive the coveted finisher medal and New Balance finisher T-shirt.

Participants in the virtual event will have 24 hours to complete the 26.2 miles, from 00:00 to 23:59 on Sunday 2 October. You can run, walk, take breaks and log your evidence on a new London Marathon app being developed by their event partner TCS.

We ask that everyone taking part tries to fundraise to help us do more for sick kids at our amazing hospital. It's our mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use our hospital's servics, offering them the best experience possible.
