England and Villa Goalie Named New Charity Ambassador

We are thrilled that Aston Villa and England Women’s goalkeeper, Hannah Hampton has become a charity ambassador for our hospital.

Hannah knows the hospital well, having been treated by our Eye Department when she was younger, which makes her rise to football stardom that much more impressive, and proves that no matter your condition, your goals are never out of reach (no pun intended).

Hannah paid our hospital a visit ahead of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 and spoke to us about her time at the hospital and why she wanted to become a charity ambassador.

We often receive donations of toys and games for our patients, particularly around the festive seasons such as Easter or Christmas, and whilst we are incredibly grateful for these, we do have some guidelines around what we can or cannot accept.

Clothing Donations and Recycling

We’ve partnered up with Collection 4 Clothes, a local clothing collection company, who collect donated good quality clothing, accessories, shoes, linen & bric-a-brac on our behalf. We don’t have any charity shops on the high street, so this is a way of donating your old belongings to us from the comfort of your home.
