Charity Action Team Co-ordinator An exciting opportunity has arisen for a volunteer to join our charity team and co-ordinate our Action Team of committed volunteers who support us in every area of our work. This role involves a variety of admin tasks that will all benefit the work of the charity. By providing ongoing contact & support to the volunteers who have signed up to our Action Team, this role will enable us to extend our charity presence and impact regionally by co-ordinating, communicating with, supporting and thanking our extensive network of passionate volunteers in every activity they do for us. What can you expect to be doing? Welcoming new volunteers to our Action Team & encouraging them to sign up to a volunteering activity Creating a calendar of forthcoming volunteering activities & circulating this on a regular basis to our Action Team via a dedicated Volunteer E-Newsletter Keeping accurate records of volunteers who sign up to volunteer; passing this information onto relevant members of the fundraising team & tracking the outcome of the volunteering activity Updating our database with details of the volunteering activities Sending out ‘Thank Yous’ to volunteers after their activity Helping the fundraising staff to organise annual thank you & recognition activities Download the role description here.
