Matt is the Chief Development Officer at King's College London and King's Health Partners where he leads on King’s relationships with top global philanthropists. He has secured over £40 million, including £20 million to create The Dickson Poon School of Law, £7 million to create The Yeoh Tiong Lay Centre of Politics, Philosophy and Law, and £6 million to create the Lau China Institute.

Matt has worked with senior volunteers and university leaders to develop transformative fundraising strategies. He previously led a team that specialised in securing transformative philanthropic gifts in support of the World questions|King’s answers campaign to raise £600 million. Matt is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Matt was appointed a Trustee of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity in December 2016.
