Following its huge success last year, and our policy change as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to announce a continuation of our popular online Amazon Christmas Wish List, which allows you to still donate toys and gifts to our sick kids this Christmas.

Not only does our Amazon Wish List give you the option to buy hand-selected gifts for our patients, but it also helps to keep them safe by avoiding unnecessary visits to our hospital at a time when COVID-19 and other winter illnesses offer an increased risk of infection.

This new process also works better for our young people by ensuring we have the right quantity, as well as an age-appropriate range, of toys and gifts to match our patients in hospital this Christmas.

Please note this means we are still unable to accept in-person donations or deliveries.

How To Donate A Toy This Christmas:

  • Buy a gift from our Amazon Wish List for one of our sick kids
  • If you make your purchase via Amazon Smile our charity also gets a small donation for every toy purchased – making it a gift that keeps on giving!
Don’t forget you can also install Smilematic as an extension on your internet browser which will automatically redirect you to Amazon Smile every time you shop on Amazon. Simply follow the instructions here to install it.
  • If you choose to purchase a toy or gift for our sick kids, please ensure you select 'Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity Gift Registry Address' so your donation will be delivered safely by post directly to us at the Children's Hospital.
  • We do not receive any of your details from Amazon, following a purchase from our Wish List. To allow us to send you a thank you, please use the Gift Note facility to include your name/address/email/phone. If you're purchasing gifts as a company, please pool any donations and designate one person to purchase the items, including a gift note with your company name and address.

Along with our Amazon Wish List, there are lots of other ways you can support us this Christmas, including:

  • Take part in our #JollyJumperDay – wear your best Christmas jumper to work or at home on Friday 10 December and collect donations.
  • Buy a ticket for our Christmas Concert, taking place on Wednesday 15 December.
  • Treat yourself or a loved one with a purchase from our Christmas online shop
  • Purchase one of our wonderful alternative gifts – further information is available on our website.

Thank you so much for your support and generosity this Christmas.
