By giving just a little of your time, you can help us make a big difference to the lives of our patients and their families!
As a charity we rely on the support we receive from our wonderful volunteers, so whatever your reason for volunteering we can find an opportunity to meet your needs and lifestyle, from fundraising administration to supporting one of our exciting events. There is really something for everyone!
Alternatively you can volunteer within our hospital. Whether you would like to give something back, make new friends, enhance your existing skills or learn something about a career in the NHS, there are so many benefits to volunteering with us.
Coming into hospital can be a stressful and worrying time, and having people around who can offer support, read stories to children, show families around or greet them at the door can make a huge difference to their journey and experience with us.
Our hospital volunteer service is integral to providing an outstanding patient experience in our world-leading hospitals, through enhancing the lives of patients, staff and communities. We welcome confident, friendly independent volunteers from age 16 with good communication skills.
We provide a friendly, welcoming environment, full training, travel expenses, social events and regular newsletters. You provide the personality, passion, character and fun. Find out more on the Trust website.
