Gifts in Wills

Help us to write the story for tomorrow’s children

For over 150 years visionary people have been remembering our hospital in their wills. Their gifts have gone on to help future generations of children, and have helped our hospital to become a national and international centre of excellence.

We believe that children are our future, do you?

Every year, we are honoured to receive legacy gifts, both large and small, from people just like you, who have chosen to invest in the future of our hospital. Though we might not know what the future holds yet, we do know that your support will do more for sick kids and help to create a hospital which will provide more innovative treatments, more positive experiences and most importantly more hope for generations of children to come.

Your legacy will create a future where better treatments for life-threatening childhood illnesses are more readily available, where state-of-the-art equipment is always to-hand, and where our pioneering research continues to push the boundaries of paediatric medicine to help us save more young lives.

We often receive donations of toys and games for our patients, particularly around the festive seasons such as Easter or Christmas, and whilst we are incredibly grateful for these, we do have some guidelines around what we can or cannot accept.

We’ve partnered up with Collection 4 Clothes, a local clothing collection company, who collect donated good quality clothing, accessories, shoes, linen & bric-a-brac on our behalf. We don’t have any charity shops on the high street, so this is a way of donating your old belongings to us from the comfort of your home.
