Zombie Walk Birmingham
Over six hundred ‘walking dead’ took to the streets on Saturday 18th June to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.
The horrifying horde – which included several brides, Shaun of the Dead, Where’s Wally and life-like doctors and nurses, animals and patients – set off from Victoria Square at 3pm for Birmingham’s eighth annual Zombie Walk. This year’s fundraising total will be close to £10,000, all of which will go towards supporting the children and young people treated at the hospital.
The event was a huge success and it was fantastic to see participants dressed in their scariest of attires and wearing their most blood-curdling make-up to help us raise even more valuable funds. Donations to Birmingham Children’s Hospital as part of the Zombie Walk can still be made online or via text. Simply TEXT ‘ZOMB88′ and ‘£2′, ‘£5′, ‘£10′ or ‘£20′ to 70070.
Thank you for being part of another fantastic Zombie Walk and we hope to see you again at the 2017 event! If you cannot wait till then and would like to re-live the fun, take a look at the highlights here
