1. How can I support the charity over this period?

Thank you, we appreciate that so much! You can support us online with a one off cash gift or a regular donation. If you would prefer to call us, you can contact our lovely Supporter Care Team on 0121 333 8506 or email [email protected]

We do still have some of our Fundraising Team in the office, so we can still accept postal donations and raffle sales to our office at:

Fundraising Team
Birmingham Children’s Hospital
Steelhouse Lane
Birmingham B4 6NH

We also appreciate you following us on social media, and there will be loads of updates from us in the coming months, (follow us via the social buttons below)

2. Is the Fundraising Hub open?

Sadly not. Following Government advice, we cannot risk the potential spread of infection, so we have closed our hub for the foreseeable future. However, you can purchase everything online at www.bch.org.uk/shop

3. Can I freeze my direct debit over the next few months?

Yes! We think this is a great idea if you still want to commit your support, but need to take a break from your payments. You can call our Supporter Care Team on 0121 333 8506 or email [email protected]

4. Can I still come into the hospital to volunteer?

As per the Government advice, we cannot encourage anybody to come in to the hospital, unless it is absolutely essential

5. Is the charity still open?

We have a skeleton staff rota within our office locations at the moment with most staff working remotely, and we will update if anything changes. But you can continue to contact us on 0121 333 8506 or email [email protected]

6. Are you still accepting knitting?

There will be limited means to collect and distribute knitting, and our lovely knitting volunteers are not available to sell any knitting at the moment. We are working hard to make sure the backlog of knitting that we have either makes it to the neonatal department, or to other women and babies in need over this period

7. Are there any other ways of continuing with our fundraising activity in the next few months?

We welcome your ideas and creativity at this time, and would love to hear your stories via social media! We are also working on some virtual activity events that you could take part in. We will update you soon, watch this space!

Any other enquiries, please contact our Supporter Care Team on 0121 333 8506 or email [email protected]
