Addressing an audience of thousands at London’s 02 Arena is enough to make even the most seasoned presenter nervous. But 16-year-old patient Callum Reed didn’t bat an eyelid when he was asked to speak at swish corporate event in London. The St James’ Place Wealth Management Foundation, who made a very generous donation to support the creation of our state-of-the-art Rare Diseases Centre, invited Callum to share his thoughts on the difference the new facility will make to him and other youngsters with rare or undiagnosed conditions.

Callum, from Kings Heath who was born with a rare form of scoliosis gave a wonderfully moving, funny and uplifting speech which received rapturous applause from over 8,000 delegates. Well done Callum, we are all really proud of you!
