The Sun captures our sustainability nativity stable to launch its 2021 Christmas Appeal

Have you seen our sustainable nativity stable next to our main entrance?

The figures are made using recycled materials by staff and patients. The Sun newspaper came along – with two real-life donkeys – to take pictures of it, and of our patients, for the launch of their 2021 Christmas Appeal, which is supporting hospital charities like ours via NHS Charities Together. The campaign was launched by Villa hero Tyrone Mings, and the wonderful Emma Willis who had some lovely things to say about our hospital. Check the article and video out by clicking here.

We often receive donations of toys and games for our patients, particularly around the festive seasons such as Easter or Christmas, and whilst we are incredibly grateful for these, we do have some guidelines around what we can or cannot accept.

Clothing Donations and Recycling

We’ve partnered up with Collection 4 Clothes, a local clothing collection company, who collect donated good quality clothing, accessories, shoes, linen & bric-a-brac on our behalf. We don’t have any charity shops on the high street, so this is a way of donating your old belongings to us from the comfort of your home.
