FUNDRAISING OFFICER

Job reference: 284-22-COCM-438

Salary: £22,549 to £24,882 pa

Description: 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising Officer to join our dynamic Fundraising Team. The team supports Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital every day by raising funds for vital research, world-class facilities, life-saving equipment and enhancing patient experience for the families we have in our care.

It’s an exciting time to join our Trust and to be part of the Public Fundraising Team. You will be responding to enquiries from potential and existing supporters, providing help and support to maximise supporter’s fundraising plans, sharing the impact they make by fundraising for us, providing information about the full range of our fundraising events and activities, and being a proactive and competent member of our fun and busy fast-paced team. You’ll need to have a can-do, positive attitude that will inspire our supporters and make the act of giving amazing.

We’re looking for somebody who is proactive, champions excellent customer service and is a team player. You will also have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to improve and add value to existing procedures. Find out more on NHSJobs.

The team supports Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital every day by raising funds for vital research, world-class facilities, life-saving equipment and enhancing patient experience for the families we have in our care.

It’s an exciting time to join our Trust and to be part of the Fundraising Team. You will be responding to enquiries from potential and existing supporters, receipting and thanking donations, updating supporter records on our database, sending out fundraising packs & resources to supporters, and being a proactive and competent member of our fun and busy fast-paced team. You’ll need to have a strong administration and computer skills, and a positive can-do attitude that will inspire our supporters and make the act of giving amazing.
