Thank you for registering your interest in our School Apprentice Challenge!

The Apprentice Challenge has proved to be a real winner with our local businesses and we are really excited to be rolling it out as a volunteering opportunity for our local schools!

To kick off the day, we inspire you! If you have a large group, we can visit your school to deliver a presentation about the work of the charity or for smaller groups, we can take pupils on a hospital tour. Then, with our help pupils produce a fundraising strategy for the day which they’ll use to raise money for our Charity through their JustGiving page (which we will set up for you!) Think posting creative messages on social media, baking yummy treats to sell for a donation, bucket collecting, or contacting friends and families and asking for donations!

Then at the end of the day we bring the pupils back together for a celebration where we announce how much you’ve collectively raised, and depending on the size of the group which team has raised the most!

The Apprentice Challenge is a brilliant team building opportunity, and a great way to develop your pupils’ confidence, communication and creativity! And we will work with you to create a day that everyone will remember:

“I feel that the tour was a great opportunity to understand the work that the charity does for the hospital and it really touched me the incredible things the charity can buy with the donations received.”

“Our team worked so well together and there was an amazing energy in the room, as everyone was focussed on raising as much money as possible.”

“I enjoyed working with my team to come up with ways in which we could help to make a positive difference to the community.”

“The tour of the hospital was a great insight of the amazing work that went on in the hospital.  I enjoyed working collectively and outside of my comfort zone.”

“The whole day I felt was really inspiring and I think our team work ethic and the results were amazing for such an amazing cause. It was great to meet a team that are so passionate about the cause and was a really uplifting and emotional day! Really proud of us all!”
