All of Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity's skydives are ran and operated by Skyline Events, because of this we have to advise on your fundraising for the skydives as they work in a different way to normal fundraising.

We ask you to raise a minimum amount of £395 in order to take part; this includes tuition and jump costs as well as a direct donation to the hospital.

The break down is:

£70 Deposit for the jump.

£200 to Skyline to cover the cost of the jump and instruction (paid on the day of the jump or via fundraising on DoItForCharity)

£125 comes to us as minimum sponsorship.

Every extra pound that you raise over this minimum comes straight to us and really does make a difference to the lives of our young patients.

All airfields require you to pay for your jump on the day which will be approximately £200 depending on the airfield. This will need to be paid in cash, cheque, card or via DoItForCharity fundraising.

If you have used DoItForCharity as your online fundraising platform payment will be taken for your skydive directly from your fundraising. Please note this will NOT be able to be taken from JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving and will need to be paid on the day, so if you are paying for this via your fundraising please make sure you have the money set aside and kept separately from any online giving.

You are more than welcome to use your fundraising to pay for your skydive, just please advise any supporters that this is your plan.

The remainder of your raised funds can be paid in the following ways:

  1. Online giving pages will automatically pay your funds to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
  2. Donate directly via the BCH website:
  3. Visit our Fundraising Hub on the main hospital corridor. The Fundraising Hub is open Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm.
  4. If you have used an online giving page such as DoItForCharity all funds remaining will be credited over to ourselves shortly after the event.
  5. Post a cheque made payable to ‘BCH Charity’ along with your name and date of sky dive to:

Fundraising Department

Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Steelhouse Lane

B4 6NH

Precise instructions on how to operate the above system, (including how much to pay your airfield on the day and how much sponsorship money is due to the charity) will be sent to you upon receipt of your reservation form and booking deposit.

IMPORTANT We would advise that any online fundraising is raised through a page at, rather than JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving, as this is linked directly to Skyline, making the payment process much smoother for you and your supporters.
