TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Both General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (available at bch.org.uk) also apply when entering the prize draw, or when interacting with Birmingham Children’s Hospital through any other means. 

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity is committed to protecting your data and we will never sell our supporter’s data to third parties. By providing us with any personal information you consent to the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy. 

Who can enter: 

Prize Draw open to UK residents aged 18 years or over only. Only applies to people who are in the challenge and have a fundraising page which has at least £20 of new donations posted to their fundraising page between 00:01 25/02/2022 and 23:59 on 28/02/2022.

Opening/closing date and time: 

Prize draw in relation to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s 10k Steps a Day in February Facebook challenge Love2Shop £100 voucher Draw 2022 opens for eligible entries from 25 January 2022 at 00:01. 

Entries close at 11:59pm on Monday 28 January 2022, any entries received after this date will not be entered into the draw. 

 Winner selection and contact: 

The random name selector prize draw will take place no later than Friday 4 March, date subject to change based on availability of fundraiser data from Facebook. 

Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize. 

How to enter and cost of entry: 

To qualify, entrants must be a registered participant of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s 10k Steps a Day in February challenge on Facebook which has at least £20 of new donations posted to their fundraising page between 00:01 25/02/2022 and 23:59 on 28/02/2022.

The prize: 

The prize is one (1) set of Love2Shop vouchers to the value of £100. Delivery will be made to the winners UK address by Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.  

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity General Competition Terms and Conditions: 

  1. By entering the draw/s, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and Rules.
  2. The draw/s opens for entries at 00:01am on 25 January 2022 and closes for entries at 11:59pm on Monday 28 January 2022.
  3. The winner of the draw will be chosen at random from all entries received by the Closing Date.
  4. The winner will receive their prize via post to the UK address of their choice.
  5. No cash alternative is available.
  6. The draw is open to all UK residents who are aged 18 or over on the date of entry.
  7. Any person found to be under 18 (eighteen) years of age on the date of the form being filled in automatically forfeits the right to the Prize.
  8. You must be 18 (eighteen) or over to claim the Prize. We may conduct random checks of entrants to ensure there are no underage players. Random checks are conducted using AgeChecked (or similar service from a third party supplier as and when stipulated). If a person enters the game stating that they are over the age of 16 (sixteen) and subsequently it is found that they are less than 16 (sixteen) years of age, they will have any money paid in relation to the draw/s returned to them and where relevant will automatically forfeit the right to any prize.
  9. The winner may need to provide proof of age before collecting the prize. Acceptable documentation of the winner’s proof of age will be a scan of their passport or driving licence.
  10. It is free to enter the draw. Entrants just need to adhere to the outlined requirements
  11. Winner of the Prize will be contacted by the Promoter within seven working days of the draw/s taking place. 
  12. All participants are solely responsible for providing and (where necessary) updating the Promoter with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and the Society will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any participant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details that the participant has provided.
  13. The Society shall not be liable to any participant for any loss or damage suffered or arising from:
  14. any delays or failures in the delivery methods used by the Promoter or the participant;
  15. any delays or failures in any software or other systems used by the Promoter for the administration of the draw/s;
  16. any delays or failures in the banking system used by the Promoter or the participant;
  17. any refusal by the Promoter to accept an individual’s entry or the cancellation of an entry;
  18. any event beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
  19. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes any liability for loss or damage incurred by any winner of a Prize in connection with or arising from the use of the Prize or participation in the draw/s.
  20. The Promoter is committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Personal information that is collected from participants is used lawfully in accordance with all current Data Protection Legislation(s). In providing your information to the Promoter, you consent to the Promoter using your information to process your entry and otherwise as described in these terms and conditions including (but not limited to) passing winners’ contact details on to representatives of third party companies used for the purposes of fulfilling the Prize and publishing winners’ names on the Website.   21. The Promoter reserves the right to:
  22. disqualify or decline to accept the entry of any participant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the participant has breached any of these terms or otherwise acted fraudulently;
  23. terminate or suspend the draw/s for reasons beyond its reasonable control
  24. In the event of any dispute regarding the draw, if the dispute cannot be resolved by the parties, it will be referred to an independent third party.
