Who can enter: 

Prize Draw open to UK residents aged 18 years or over only. Only applies to people who are in the 10k Steps A Day in February 2024 challenge and have a fundraising page which has received at least £10 in total donations between 00:01 25/01/2024 and 23:59 on 29/01/2024.  

Opening/closing date and time: 

Prize draw in relation to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s ‘10k Steps A Day In February 2024 Fitbit Versa 3 Competition opens for eligible entries from Thursday 25 January 2024 at 00:01. Entries close at 23:59 on Monday 29 January 2024. Any entries received after this date will not be entered into the draw.  

Winner selection and contact: 

The random name selector prize draw will take place no later than Friday 2 February 2024, date subject to change based on availability of fundraiser data from Facebook and JustGiving. Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.  

How to enter and cost of entry: 

The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. To qualify, entrants must be a registered participant of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s ‘10k Steps A Day In February 2024Fundraising Challenge via Facebook and have a fundraising page which has at least £10 added in donations by 23:59 on Monday 29 January 2024. 

The prize: 

The prize is one (1) Fitbit Versa 3 (fitness tracker). Delivery will be made to the winners UK address by Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.  

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity General Competition Terms and Conditions: 

  1. By entering the draw/s, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and Rules. 

  1. The draw/s opens for entries at 00:01 on Thursday 25 January 2024 and closes for entries at 23:59 on Monday 29 January 2024. 

  1. The winner of the draw will be chosen at random from all entries received by the Closing Date. 

  1. The winner will receive their prize via post to the UK address of their choice. 

  1. No cash alternative is available. 

  1. The draw is only open to UK residents who are aged 18 or over on the date of entry. 

  1. Any person found to be under 18 (eighteen) years of age on the date of the form being filled in automatically forfeits the right to the Prize. 

  1. You must be 18 (eighteen) or over to claim the Prize. We may conduct random checks of entrants to ensure there are no underage players. Random checks are conducted using AgeChecked (or similar service from a third-party supplier as and when stipulated). If a person enters the game stating that they are over the age of 18 (eighteen) and subsequently it is found that they are less than 18 (eighteen) years of age, they will have any money paid in relation to the draw/s returned to them and where relevant will automatically forfeit the right to any prize. 

  1. The winner may need to provide proof of age before collecting the prize. Acceptable documentation of the winner’s proof of age will be a scan of their passport or driving licence. 

  1. It is free to enter the draw. Entrants just need to adhere to the outlined requirements. 

  1. Winner of the Prize will be contacted by the Promoter within seven working days of the draw/s taking place.  

  1. All participants are solely responsible for providing and (where necessary) updating the Promoter with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and the Promoter will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any participant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details that the participant has provided. 

  1. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes any liability for loss or damage incurred by any winner of a Prize in connection with or arising from the use of the Prize or participation in the draw/s. 

  1. The Promoter is committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Personal information that is collected from participants is used lawfully in accordance with all current Data Protection Legislation(s). In providing your information to the Promoter, you consent to the Promoter using your information to process your entry and otherwise as described in these terms and conditions including (but not limited to) passing winners’ contact details on to representatives of third-party companies used for the purposes of fulfilling the Prize and publishing winners’ names on the Website.   1. The Promoter reserves the right to: 

  1. Disqualify or decline to accept the entry of any participant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the participant has breached any of these terms or otherwise acted fraudulently; 

  1. Terminate or suspend the draw/s for reasons beyond its reasonable control. 

  1. In the event of any dispute regarding the draw, if the dispute cannot be resolved by the parties, it will be referred to an independent third party.
