Join #TeamBCH and take on the iconic Simplyhealth Great Birmingham 10k on 26 May. An exciting new route is currently taking shape which will takes in new areas including Colmore Row, Birmingham Cathedral, Victoria Square and the Jewellery Quarter.

The course has something for everyone and is suitable for all levels of ability, whether beginner or experienced.  You can choose to walk, jog or run with our team on a route that is filled with musical entertainment.

Since the first 10k back in 2015 over 2,000 of you have taken part in this popular event for our amazing hospital, raising over £250,000. This year you can make a difference too by joining #TeamBCH.

How To Run For Us

Simply visit www.greatrun.org/great-birmingham-10k and select Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity when you register. We’ll then send you a fundraising pack and running vest.

Already Have A Place?

If you’ve already got a place for the 10k but you’d like to run for us please complete our online registration form below. We’ll then send you a fundraising pack and running vest.

#TeamBCH Charity Place  

We have 25 free places available for the 10k which can be applied for using the form below. Each place has a minimum fundraising target of £250. 

Charity places will be allocated on by end of January 2019


We’re excited to see that this year’s route will pass Birmingham Children’s Hospital, making it even more special for everyone running for our amazing hospital.

It will even include the historic heart of the city centre and New Street for the first time.

There will also be a new start in the centre of Birmingham at Colmore Row with the grandstand finish again at Aston University.
