Supporting children since 1862

From delivering the very best hospital environments and funding life-saving, state-of-the-art equipment, to championing groundbreaking research into childhood diseases, we do more for the 100,000 sick kids treated at our hospital every year.

Since 1862, donations have enabled our hospital to remain a centre of paediatric excellence, providing specialist care to sick kids from across the UK and beyond.

Thanks to donations, fundraising and gifts in Wills, we’ve been able to build pioneering spaces like Magnolia House, our Children’s Cancer Centre, a specialist Burns Centre and the UKs largest MediCinema to name but a few.

We’ve funded innovative equipment like an iMRI scanner and delivered world-leading research which has set new standards of care. You can also explore our BWCH Charity Research Programme, which supports clinician-led projects driving innovation, improving treatments and advancing care for women, children and families.
