Become a Hope Aquarium Ambassador
Calling all patients – bring our ‘fin-tastic’ new Hope Aquarium to life!
Our brand-new, 27,000 litre, live-reef Hope Aquarium is being created inside our hospital’s new front entrance. It’s the largest of its kind in the world, but to make it extra special, we r-eel-y need your help.
We’re offering six patients aged between four and 16 years old the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become volunteer Hope Aquarium Ambassadors.
So, if you love science, engineering and nature and want to help our hospital, we’d love to hear from you.
What does the role involve?
Our team of chief marine officers will help select fish, coral and marine life, and work with a world-renowned expert from aquarium creators, ViDERE Aquariums, to make the aquarium educational, fun and engaging for patients and families.
Our ambassadors will also need to support with official announcements and attend the grand unveiling of the aquarium later this year, so must have consent to appear on camera.
