Who can enter:
The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over only. Only applies to people who are members of the 2026 Kids Summer Challenge For Birmingham Children’s Hospital Facebook group and have a Kids Summer Challenge, 31 Miles in August for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity 2026 JustGiving fundraising page, which has received at least £5.00 of brand-new donations posted to their JustGiving page between 00:01 on 16/07/2026 and 23:59 on 19/07/2026.
Opening/closing date and time:
Prize draw in relation to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s Kids Summer Challenge ‘31 Miles in August 2026’.
The prize is one Family Gloworm Festival Ticket (for two adults and two children) on Sunday 9 August 2026.
The competition opens for eligible entries from Thursday 16 July 2026 at 00:01. Entries close at 23:59 on Sunday 19 July 2026. Any entries received after this date will not be entered into the draw.
Winner selection and contact:
The random name selector prize draw will take place no later than 5pm on Wednesday 22 July 2026, date subject to change based on availability of fundraiser data from JustGiving.
Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.
How to enter and cost of entry:
The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. To qualify, entrants must be a registered participant of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s Kids Summer Challenge ‘31 Miles in August’ 2026, be a member of the 2026 Kids Summer Challenge For Birmingham Children’s Hospital Facebook group and have a Kids Summer Challenge, 31 Miles in August for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity 2026 JustGiving fundraising page which has at least £5 of new donations posted to the page between 00:01 on 16/07/2026 and 23:59 on 19/07/2026.
The prize:
The first eligible name selected by the random name selector will each win one (1) family ticket (Two Adults, Two Children) to Gloworm Festival on Sunday 9 August 2026. There is one voucher in total. Dates cannot be transferred. Delivery will be posted to the winner’s specified UK postal address by Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.
Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity General Competition Terms and Conditions:
- By entering the draw/s, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and Rules.
- The draw/s opens for entries at 00:01 on Thursday 16 July 2026 and closes for entries at 23:59 on Sunday 19 July 2026.
- The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received by the closing date.
- The winner will receive the prize via post to a UK address of their choice.
- No cash alternative is available.
- The draw is only open to UK residents who are aged 18 or over on the date of entry.
- Any person found to be under 18 (eighteen) years of age between the dates of entry automatically forfeits the right to the prize.
- You must be 18 (eighteen) or over to claim the prize. We may conduct random checks of entrants. Random checks are conducted using AgeChecked (or similar service from a third-party supplier as and when stipulated). If a person enters stating they are over the age of 18 (eighteen) and subsequently it is found they are less than 18 (eighteen) years of age, they will automatically forfeit the right to any prize.
- The winner may need to provide proof of age before receiving the prize. Acceptable documentation of the winner’s proof of age will be a scan of their passport or driving licence.
- It is free to enter the draw. Entrants just need to adhere to the outlined requirements.
- The prize winner will be contacted by the Charity within seven working days of the draw/s taking place.
- All participants are solely responsible for providing and (where necessary) updating the charity with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and the charity will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any participant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details the participant has provided.
- To the extent permitted by law, the charity excludes any liability for loss or damage incurred by any winner of a prize in connection with or arising from the use of the prize or participation in the draw/s.
- The charity is committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Personal information collected from participants is used lawfully in accordance with all current Data Protection Legislation(s). In providing your information to the charity, you consent to the charity using your information to process your entry and otherwise as described in these terms and conditions including (but not limited to) passing winners’ contact details on to representatives of third-party companies used for the purposes of fulfilling the prize and publishing winners’ names on the website. - The charity reserves the right to:
a. Disqualify or decline to accept the entry of any participant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the participant has breached any of these terms or otherwise acted fraudulently;
b. Terminate or suspend the draw/s for reasons beyond its reasonable control. - In the event of any dispute regarding the draw, if the dispute cannot be resolved by the parties, it will be referred to an independent third party.
