Coming into hospital can be a stressful and worrying time, and having people around who can offer support, read stories to children, show families around or greet them at the door can make a huge difference to their journey and experience with us.

Our hospital volunteer service is integral to providing an outstanding patient experience in our world leading hospitals, through enhancing the lives of patients, staff and communities. We provide a friendly, welcoming environment, full training, travel expenses, social events and regular newsletters.
